The Mathematics Department at the University of West Georgia is looking for part-time mathematics tutors to work in the Math Tutoring Center. The position is open to students as well as applicants outside the University. Applicants must have a good knowledge of mathematics including algebra, trigonometry, and differential/integral calculus. Prior tutoring/teaching experience is preferred. Non-UWG students must have earned a Bachelors degree in Mathematics.

The position pays $8 per hour with a flexible workload of four to 20 hours per week depending on scheduling. The Tutoring Center hours are from 10-8 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 10-6 on Thursday; and 10-2 on Friday. The position for Fall, 2006 runs from 8/14/2006 through 12/10/2006, with a possibility of renewal each semester.
