Assessment:
Daily Homework.
5-10 problems will be assigned and one chosen to be graded for 0-2 points. You can chose a problem (even only) not assigned to be graded for
0-2 points for correctness and an extra 0-2 points for difficulty.
Random Quizzes. Based on homework and class discussions. 0-2 points for correctness both
mathematically and grammatically.
3 Tests of 75-minute duration that will occur
during class periods. There will be a
week notice of the exam.

Comprehensive
Final. This will be held in class on August 2 from 7:30am to 9:30am. The comprehensive may be used to replace
your lowest in class exam score.
Your
course grade is based on 5 parts as follows:
Homework 20
times your points/total points assigned
Test 1 20
times your percentage from test
Test 2 20
times your percentage from test
Test 3 20
times your percentage from test
Final* 20
times your percentage from final
Quizzes(extra) 5 times your points/total points assigned
* This score could replace a lower score from any
other test.
