Text: Calculus, Early Transcendentals (4th edition) by Stewart.


Objective: This is the second course in Calculus sequence. The student will learn about the different application of integration and the convergence of series (L1). We shall cover chapters 6-7-8-10-11. We shall be using the Computer Algebra System MapleV8 in TLC1116 on Thursdays.


Tests: There will be 3 class tests, 100 points each, given on Thursdays:

September 26th, October 24th and November 21st.

Quizzes: A weekly quiz will be given on Thursdays and will mainly cover questions from the homework. Each quiz counts 20 points towards your final grade. The 10 best quizzes are counted.


Final Exam: The final exam is Monday, Dec 9th, 11:00-13:00 and counts 200 points towards your final grade.
