The following is your detailed syllabus with homework assignments for Einführung A and B in the text book Kontakte.  Unless otherwise indicated, page numbers refer to Kontakte.  The homework listed under a given date is the work that you should already have completed before you come to class on that day.

 

· Written homework from Kontakte should be placed on the instructor’s desk every day before class begins.  Most days, it will be handed back at the end of class.  On some occasions, the professor will take it with him/her and grade it and count it toward your homework grade.

Workbook assignments should be completed before class for the day they are assigned; workbooks will be collected on the day of the chapter test (Prüfung) and checked for completion and accuracy. To receive full credit for the workbook, you must self-correct all assigned exercises in a different color pen using the answer key at the back of the workbook.  YOU NEED TO PURCHASE 3 CDs IN COBB 107 for 2 dollars each (good for the whole semester) in order to complete the workbook assignments!
