Drafting Using Signs

1. Identify a list of  signs.  Consider recurring images, relationships, or themes.

2. Narrow down to one sign that you feel strongly about in the text.

3. Develop driving theoretical questions about the sign.  Develop open ended questions that can produce multiple responses.  Make sure all questions relate to the sign.  You can't go wrong with questions that start with "Why?"

4. Draft at least five responses to your questions.  Follow the paragraph writing format and include your text.  If you are to use outside sources, establish dialogue with critics and use their view as support.
