BSN Program
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program on the Newnan Campus

Cynthia Epps, PhD, RN, Newnan Program Coordinator

The Department of Nursing Undergraduate Program offers a part-time Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in Newnan. The generic track prepares graduates who are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN, the national licensing examination to become a Registered Nurse. Information concerning other BSN programs is available on the Carrollton campus.

The BSN program is based on a philosophy of caring. The philosophy is exemplified through Caring Groups that provide students with the opportunity to learn caring for self and others. The Caring Groups consist of a group of 10-12 students and one faculty facilitator. The Group meets together on a regular basis during the program to provide encouragement and support, thus enhancing the potential for success in the program. The Photo Gallery illustrates some of the activities in this program.
