Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that learning is an ongoing, dynamic process that expands the
lifecycle. As we grow and mature, our abilities and the way we learn change.
Therefore, I see myself as a teacher needing to be flexible, adaptive, and
understanding of different ways of learning. I strive to keep the classroom
environment stimulating and encourage the students to learn from a variety of
resources, including themselves and their peers. I also know that I can learn a
lot from my students and encourage them to contribute to the learning
environment on a regular basis. In teaching nursing, it is important to develop
a sense of caring throughout the curriculum, as this is the essence of a good
nurse.
