School of Nursing Scholarships
Several scholarships are offered through the School of Nursing to students in the BSN program. Students are encouraged to read the criteria for each scholarship and apply for those where they meet the criteria. Students may apply for more than one scholarship. The scholarship criteria and application are available below, and the application is due by May 1st each year. Decisions for scholarships awarded by the School of Nursing are made during the Summer Semester. Students who receive nursing scholarships will have the award applied to the Fall and Spring Semesters.
Students applying for School of Nursing scholarships should also file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form in the Financial Aid Office or online. For more information about financial aid, please contact the Office of Financial Aid for the University of West Georgia.
