Learning Outcomes for Religion Minor

(adopted fall 2010 for use beginning spring 2011)

 

 

All students who complete the minor in religion will be able to:

 

1. Describe the distinct beliefs and practices of the world's major religions.

    

2. Describe, and evaluate responses to, philosophical questions pertaining to religious belief and experience.

    

3. Identify and describe the central themes of religious literature.

    

4. Compare and contrast theology and philosophy as distinct methods of inquiry.
