WELCOME

The Cherokee Rose Writing Project (CRWP), located at the University of West Georgia, is affliated with the National Writing Project (NWP). The National Writing Project is a network of exemplary teachers of writing which is based on a model of "teachers teaching teachers."

Our first summer institute, The Word and the World, was a month long intensive workshop by which teachers participated in ways to improve student writing abilities by improving their own teaching and learning of writing.
