The Beta Zeta Chapter at the University of Georgia

Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity can be described as a unique organization that finds its basis on the ideals of Scholarship, leadership, and fellowship.  In carrying out these ideals, Phi Sigma Pi has become a unique blend of three different types of organizations.  Through Scholarship, it can be said that in ways we resemble an Honor Society, through leadership, it can also be said that we resemble a service organization, and through fellowship it can be said that we resemble a Social organization.  The fact remains that through these three ideals, we become something much more.  As an Honor Fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi maintains high standards and ideals.  Its Members strives to actively personify the meaning of brotherhood, whether through academic discipline, service to the community or fraternal friendship and bonding. 

For Phi Sigma Pi to work at its full potential, the organization must strike a balance between its three ideals, also called its tripod.  In doing so, Phi Sigma Pi truly sets itself as a unique and remarkable organization whose potential is completely unmatched.  Through balance of its tripod, Phi Sigma Pi can be a driving force that can bring about good throughout the community.

Phi Sigma Pi currently has over 90 chapters that exist throughout the continental United States, with over 20,000 people, both current collegiate students and alumni having met the standards and the requirements for joining the organization.  These people, are some of the best in their fields and some of the most outstanding in their community, whether that community be their campus that they attend school, their neighborhood that they dwell, or the jobs that they hold.  These people not only find ways to better their communities, but also better both the organization and most importantly better themselves.
