PHI SIGMA PI, In Retrospect

By Stella Maher

Delta Chi 2

Phi Sigma Pi has given me a place where I can meet similar individuals, do service, and be involved in leadership.  While always interested in service to others, I never really had an outlet to do so until becoming a brother.  The fraternity provided me with organized events so I could spend my time doing service instead of planning ways for me to do so.  It gave me a family I could depend on, more than my birth family - brothers I could call any time just to hang out, or who would lend an ear or helping hand.  PSP taught me about parliamentary procedure, what it means to win, and to lose, how to be a good big brother, and how to play the political game of trying to keep everyone happy.

I joined Phi Sigma Pi to build my resume and be a leader, and I stayed because of the lifelong friendships I built at my first Grand Chapter.
