Finishing and Binding
Our department offers several finishing options, including folding, hole-punching, stapling and tape-binding in black, blue or red.
Our department has four bindery options:
- Saddle-stitch: Two staples in the folded spine; must not exceed 1 and 1/4-inch thickness at the fold.
- Perfect-bind: Glued hard spine; must be at least 3/16-inch thick.
- Tape-bind: Similar to perfect binding, using a tape backing and hot glue; requires a minimum spine width of 1/8 inch.
- Spiral-bind: Plastic binding units inserted through hole-punched pages.
- Hard cover: For small quantities; $8 per book.
- Soft cover: Similar to paperback books, for small quantities; $4 per book.
- See-through binding: Clear plastic cover; $3 per book.
