Bowdon Hall is
a freshman, co-ed residence hall on the east side of the West Georgia campus. The
building is composed of three wings, each with three floors. Bowdon
is famous for bright rooms with large windows and for it's convenient
access to the humanities and social science buildings. The building
boasts an upstairs lobby with a TV Lounge, a conference room, a pool
table, a complete kitchen and a spacious laundry facility. Bowdon houses residents enrolled in the Honors College as well as being one of two halls that house students enrolled in the FYRST
Program. The First Year Residents
Succeeding Together Program, is a challenging
and unique program specifically targeting the needs of freshmen who
are making the transition to college life and course work. Strozier Hall is the other hall housing students in FYRST.
