Prepare for
the arrival of your new roommate. Look inside for more suggestions on how
to start the year off right. Meet the other residents on your floor.
Explore your
hall. Look for laundry rooms, vending areas, study lounges, game rooms, etc.

Familiarize
yourself with the emergency evacuation procedure and fire safety information
posted on the back of your room door. More information and tips for keeping
you and your possessions safe is contained in this document.
Get to know
your residence hall staff. you can find information on each member of the
staff in your residence hall office area.
Read and understand
all University and Residence Hall rules and regulations. This handbook contains
descriptions of residence hall polices. The Uncatalog is a good source for
more thorough descriptions of Unviversity policies. In addition, the discipline
process is outlined on the next to last page.
If you have
a car, make sure you have the appropriate sticker and familiarize yourself
with the correct parking lots in your area of campus.
