Tyus Option
Tyus Hall is an option for freshmen and for current student who only need housing for three to four weeks. Students needing housing for eight or more weeks should select the Arbor View Option. With the exception of rooms ending in 10 or 11, all Tyus assignments will be double occupancy.

Arbor View Apartments Option
Arbor View is the option for students who are planning on being enrolled for Session 2, the 8-week session or for any combination of sessions totaling more than eight weeks. This includes students taking May-mester classes in addition to session two or three classes. Students who need break housing between the end of spring and the start of summer classes are also required to choose the Arbor View Option for summer.

Information/Procedures for ***NEW*** Students
Housing assignments will be made in May and will be mailed to the students home address approximately 2 weeks prior to the first day of classes for the session(s) the student needs housing for.
Freshman students are encouraged to select session 2 as their option since most freshman classes are taught during that session. Freshmen will be assigned to Tyus Hall.
Click on this link to access the housing contract for new students. You will use your social security number as your ID and the last two digits of your birth year plus the last 4 digits of your social security number as your pin. Select Summer 2008 as your term.
You will want to make sure you have a printer handy. The signature page of the contract must be printed, signed and returned to the Residence Life Office with a deposit. The amount of deposit you owe will be reflected at the bottom of the signature page.
Information/Procedures for ***CURRENT*** Students
Housing assignments will be made as the contracts are submitted. In order for you to have an accurate fee assessment on your student bill, you are encouraged to submit the housing contract prior to early registration.
Housing assignment info will be sent to your campus myUWG email address.
Check the class bulletin for class dates so that you can accurately chose which session(s) you will need housing for.
If your plans change and you need to add or remove sessions, you must do so in writing to the Residence Life Office. Email requests should be submitted to rlassign@westga.edu.
Complete the contract, print out the signature page and return it to the Residence Life Office in Mandeville Hall. The contract will not be official and the housing assignment will not be made until the signature page is received.
