AMERICAN WORKS AT THE HIGH MUSEUM
Fall 2008
Not all of the artists who are on the Term Project list are
represented by works at the High Museum, but it is worth the trip to see those
which are there. If your artist does have work there, you should plan to spend some time with
it there, and take copious notes about it. Especially examine it
very thoroughly, becoming really familiar with it. Take a photo if
allowed. (Get a photo permission pass at the entry desk, but photos may not be
allowed for all works.) Bring a lead pencil for note-taking or you will have to
use a stubby golf pencil. Ink pens not allowed.
The High Museum may not have any particular work on display
at any given moment, so you may need to be flexible.
