As with Exam 1, you should prepare as follows, for the four museums, by examining the following:

You should accomplish this by exploring their websites and the collections in evidence there, and your class notes, and by thoughtful review of issues and objects, and the film we viewed on the Metropolitan Museum.

You may bring to the exam a list which includes the titles, artists, dates for the 3 works for each museum.  You will write the essays in class, with no other notes, so  make sure that you are in command of your material and arguments.   Remember that you will not have any images to stimulate your thinking, so have good mental pictures at your disposal.  You will be expected to treat the questions with some depth, not just in a superficial way.

The following are sites for some of the additional museums you may want to select for the additional choice you will make, beyond the ones we already have scheduled.  You need to to let me me know by the time of the exam on the 29th of November which you will visit, so that I can prepare your journal instructions for this visit.  In this, consider personal preferences, courses you have taken or that you plan to take, or whatever. You are not limited to these.  If there are others you want me to consider, tell me what they are, and I will decide if they are suitable for the course requirements.
