The Georgia Undergraduate Art History Forum was conceived in the belief that our art history students will benefit by meeting and sharing their ideas with their colleagues, by presenting their research findings in a public forum, and by beginning their careers as active participants in their discipline. We wish them long and productive careers in a richly rewarding field.
Special thanks are due to all of those who helped to make this program possible. We particularly want to express our sincere gratitude to the State University of West Georgia, and to LaGrange College, and to Georgia State University for their sponsorship, as well as to the Department of Art faculty and staff, and to the Chair, Professor Bruce Bobick for support in this endeavor. All of the students who submitted papers for consideration and their faculty sponsors are to be commended for their interest in such an event and their willingness to work for it. The primary faculty responsible for the forum are:
Rita Tekippe, UWG
Dorothy Joiner, LGC
Emily Hanna GSU
