Hildesheim, St. Michael's, 1001-31 (Germany) (Ottonian)
Ottonian church with the double-apses and double crossings. Possibly
for an extended liturgy. Lack of a
focal point one gets from entry at the west. The western end
of this church is to the left of the image!!!
The main entry is in the middle of the south side, the side now facing
us.
