Staff Advisory Council Minutes
March 27, 2003

2. Susan Colgate talked about the University Club.
   1. It is a faculty/staff club open to everybody
   2. $3 for lunch, usually have 50 or 60 people attend
   3. They are working on activities such as:
      1. Braves game
      2. Spring Social 4/18/2003 at Z-6
         • Business casual
         • $15 per person
         • 6:30pm cocktails
         • 7:00pm dinner

   1. Staff Conference
   2. Brunch for Toys
   3. Rape Crises
   4. Staff Day
   5. Fought policy about insurance
      
      
4. This Year
   1. University Club
   2. SAC Lunch:
      Not the same day as university club
   3. Erma will:
      Appoint Committee Chairs and have them to report each month
   4. SAC needs a link from the main UWG site under Faculty/Staff:
      Alex will look into that
   5. Erma talked about the draft of the letter for Health Benefits
      
      
5. Staff Day
   1. May 16th, 11:30am - 1:30pm
   2. We will have our table
   3. Entertainment will be CDs
   4. Erma and Alex will get door prizes
   5. We will sell t-shirts from the conference for $3 eash, and will give 10 as door prizes
      
      
6. Relay for Life
   1. Alex talked about the Relay plans.
      
      
7. University System Staff Council Meeting
   1. Lower benefits for TRS
   2. Representative from the Board of Regents will attend the next Meeting to be held in June.

      1. We submitted a letter to BOR stating that not all employees are being evaluations
