In joining a fraternity, you become a member of the fraternity
system, a system which encompasses all nine of UWG's National Interfraternity
Conference fraternities and everyone of the system's 300+ members.
Nearly 13% of West Georgia's university men are part of the Interfraternity
Council system, working together on philanthropic projects, and
all kinds of activities. The Interfraternity Council provides many
opportunities for involvement in campus life and the Greek system
outside your individual fraternity.
As a prospective fraternity man, think of the Recruitment process
as a way of joining the Interfraternity Council and the Greek system,
rather than a member of just one fraternity. After all, all nine
chapters share common goals of brotherhood, and they are all part
of the fraternity system.
