Pledgeship is the period between the time you accept your bid and
the time you become an initiated brother. Usually, pledgeship
lasts about eight to ten weeks. During pledgeship, you will
learn about your fraternity, get to know the brothers, and become
close with those in your pledge class. Your pledge class will
often work together on projects that promote brotherhood and chapter
unity. As a pledge class, you will learn the ideals of the
fraternity and grow in all aspects of life. Pledgeship can
be one of the most memorable, valued times of your college career.
