A bid is a formal invitation to join a particular fraternity in
which you have shown an interest during Recruitment. Fraternities
at West Georgia may not extend bids until the later part of the
Recruitment week. At the time the bid is extended to you, you will
have the opportunity to accept or reject the bid. If you are
unsure at the time about joining that particular fraternity, do
not hesitate to think more thoroughly about your decision.
A fraternity is made up of the people that you will closely affiliate
with during your college career and beyond.
