College…One of the biggest steps in the growth of a young woman.
Delta Delta Delta is dedicated to providing women the support and
encouragement they need to succeed in life. Personal growth, friendship,
and guidance represent the backbone of Tri-Delta. Through community
service projects, scholarship programs, tutoring programs, and social
events, Tri-Delta inspires its members toward strong womanly character.
Tri-Delta hosts and participates in many community service and
philanthropy projects. We are very dedicated to our Children's Cancer
Charities, donating the majority of our philanthropy earnings to
Egleston's Children's Hospital cancer patients and families who
have struggled with cancer. We do many community service projects
around Carrollton such as visiting nursing homes to deliver Easter
baskets and Valentine's Day Cards, Alice's House, participating
in Relay for Life, A-Day, and the Cherry Chase. Tri-Delta also hosts
yearly events such as our chili supper, pancake breakfast, and golf
tournament.
Not only are Tri-Delta's active off of campus, they are active
on campus as well! We currently have Tri-Delta's represented on
Student Government, Student Activities Council, University Ambassadors,
Greek Week Steering Committee, Campus Outreach, The Baptist Student
Union, cheerleading, the tennis team, Orientation Staff, Order of
Omega, and intramurals. Tri-Delta sisters also shine socially. We
have many social events throughout the year including Delta Delta
Delta Family Day, scholarship banquets, Pearl and Pansy Semi-formal,
Stars and Crescent Winter Formal in Atlanta, Orange Crush in the
spring along with socials and crush parties every semester. Although
we do enjoy our social opportunities, Tri-Deltas place a strong
emphasis on their grades. We have study hall for sisters and tutoring
programs. Tri-Delta has won first in grades for almost three years.
Delta Delta Delta is more than just a social sorority. Tri-Delta
is… "study buddies", late night talks, friends to listen, a shoulder
to cry on, and a friendly smile. Tri-Deltas offer support, love,
and security to all of their sisters. Delta Delta Delta has dedicated
itself and its members to broadening the horizons of young women.
Delta Delta Delta allows women the opportunity to achieve their
hopes and dreams.
