In
joining a sorority, you become a member of the Panhellenic system,
a system which encompasses all six of West Georgia's National Panhellenic
Conference sororities and every one of our more than 400 members.
Think about that for a minute. More than 11% of West Georgia's undergraduate
women are part of the Panhellenic system-working together in philanthropic
projects, programs, and all kinds of activities. Panhellenic provides
many opportunities for involvement in campus life and the Greek system
outside your individual sorority.
As a prospective sorority woman, it would be in your best interest
to think of the recruitment process as a way of becoming a member
of Panhellenic and the Greek system, rather than as a member of
just one sorority. By considering Panhellenic as a whole, you'll
took at all six sororities with an open mind. Try not to rule any
sorority out without seriously looking at what it has to offer you
and what may make it different from the other five sorority chapters.
After all, all six share common goals of sisterhood, and they are
ALL part of Panhellenic.
