About Student Organizations @ UWG
Student organizations play a vital role at UWG. These groups provide
many opportunities for leadership and involvement. The 90 plus student
organizations on campus represent a variety of interests and produce
an amazing array of things to see and do throughout the school year.
The important thing to remember is that there is always something
to do at the State University of West Georgia. Check out our Registered
Student Organization database.

Organization Training
We also ask that executive officers attend a mandatory Organization

and procedures, as well as new information. Organizations who
miss this meeting will have their campus privileges frozen.
Leadership Development and Training
In order to have a strong organization we suggest that executive
board members attend organization training and participate in
Leadership To Go. There
is also a XIDS class What
Do You Know About Leadership offered each semester that is
co-taught by the Department of Student Activities staff.
What if my organization misses the registration deadline?
Organizations will remain in dormant (frozen) status until their
organization's annual registration has been filed. Organizations
will not receive any of the benefits outlined by the University

Registration packets are available throughout the year.
