Irish Homecoming

Join the celebration as Cherish The Ladies host an all-star cast for one unforgettable evening. For over twenty-five years, Cherish the Ladies have reigned as an Irish sensation, literally the most sought-after ensemble in Celtic music history. Led by the Grammy award-winning flutist Joanie Madden, the Ladies present a tour-de-force of the biggest names in traditional Irish music.

Born and raised in County Clare, Ireland, Maura O’Connell first performed with the legendary Celtic band De Dannan. As heard on her Grammy nominated solo recordings, O’Connell’s voice is hauntingly rich and pure. Ranging from Van Morrison and Dolly Parton to Béla Fleck and Roseanne Cash, her musical collaborators continue to cheer for this eloquent singer. Bohola consists of piano accordion virtuoso Jimmy Keane and the remarkable bouzar player and vocalist Pat Broaders. The Chicago Tribune wrote, "Bohola plays 300-year-old jigs and reels as if they were trying to tear the house down.” Need even more excitement? An all-star dance ensemble, featuring champions from River Dance and The Chieftains will provide the fiery footwork. Don’t miss Live Art!
