The Taming of the Shrew 7:30

It's that time again – time to swap theatrical war stories, reminisce about the good times at WGC/UWG, and return to the place we all donated so much of our blood, sweat and tears to learning the art of theatre.

This year, we are particularly pleased to honor our third annual Alum of the Year, Cheri Ingle , who is being recognized for her work in costume design for stage, television, and film productions. Cheri may be best known for her Emmy-nominated work as a costume designer for the television show, Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman . Cheri will be presenting a workshop for our students on Friday afternoon and will be honored at the reception on Saturday.

As past theatre majors, we invite you to join us for a reception in your honor and a performance of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Please join us in the Martha Munro building, where we will have a reception with light refreshments and then enjoy the performance at the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts.

Enjoy catching up with your classmates and meeting present members of the Theatre Company! Our program is growing, and you can see the difference you are making by helping the UWG Theatre Program. And please send or bring us a headshot for our ever-growing Wall of Fame .

To RSVP, please contact Jan Ridgway at (678) 839-4700 or jridgway@westga.edu by September 28 to reserve your tickets. If you would like more information about this event or other alumni events, feel free to contact me at (678) 839-4701 or cboyd@westga.edu.

We look forward to seeing you!
