Auditions for Fall Semester
Please prepare a one minute monologue from a contemporary dramatic play AND a one minute comic monologue from the late 19th or early 20th century. Examples include Oscar Wilde (please do not choose a monologue from Lady Windermere's Fan), Georges Feydeau, George Bernard Shaw, Arthur Wing Pinero, or Eugene Martin LaBiche and J.M. Barrie.

Monday, August 17th at 6:30 p.m. (auditions)

This scholarship is awarded to incoming Theatre major freshman. Please refer to scholarship section for more information.

 
  • Auditionees should prepare two contrasting monologues no longer than 2 minutes in length combined. Technical Theatre/design candidates should prepare a design portfolio.
 
The following is a list of The friends of Theatre New Talent Award audition locations and dates for incoming school year 2009-2010.
 
  • October 14-18: GTC Convention

  • February 2-7: KCACTF Region Festival (Murfeesboro, TN)

  • February 11-13: Georgia Thespian Conference (Columbus, GA)

  • March 3-7: Southeastern Theatre Conference ( Lexington, KY)
