Scholarships named for Dixon

CARROLLTON,
GA - Rufus M. Dixon (center), CEO and founder of Dixie Converting, was
recently recognized by the naming of two scholarships in his honor at
the University of West Georgia. The scholarships were established
by Dixie Converting employees to honor Dixon for his contributions to
the company and community. The awards of $250 each will be made to west
Georgia area juniors or seniors enrolled in the Richards College of Business
at UWG. On hand for the presentation were (1-r) Dr. Jack Johnson, dean
of the Richards College of Business; Dixon, and Chris Dixon, president
of Dixie Converting.
