Gerontology hosts "Sock Drive"

CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia Gerontology Program and the Gerontological Honor Society, Sigma Phi Omega, plan to celebrate Valentine’s Day “Warming Hearts by Warming Feet.”
Sigma Phi Omega, through its first Valentine’s Day Sock Drive, is collecting new socks from the campus community and Carrollton residents starting today until Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14.
All the socks will be donated to local nursing homes. Anyone interested in making a donation can bring new socks to Pafford Hall, Rooms 238, 209B or 217 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday through Thursday until Feb. 13, and on Friday, Feb. 14.
