Sports management holds 2nd symposium

CARROLLTON, GA - The Sport Management Department at the University of West Georgia will be holding its 2nd annual Symposium on Thursday, Feb. 13.
The symposium will take place at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel at 5:30 p.m. The guest speaker for the evening will be Jennifer Carlson of Playbook, who is a UWG sport management graduate and a marketing representative from the Atlanta Thrashers.
UWG students will have the opportunity to meet other students in the same major from Ohio, Slippery Rock, Georgia State University, University of Georgia and Kennesaw State University, and find out more information on what graduates are doing in their careers.
Early that day, all the students will tour Turner Field, CNN, and Phillips Arena. For more information, contact the Sports Management Department at 770-836-4731.
