Observatory schedule January 15, 2003 CARROLLTON, GA - Want to see something out of this world? At the University of West Georgia Observatory you can catch a glimpse of a meteor shower, study the moon’s craters and even view the red planet of Mars. The Observatory will be open to the public on Feb. 16, 7-8 p.m.; March 8, 8-9 p.m.; April 5, 9-10 p.m.; and May 3, 9-10 p.m. Viewing conditions are contingent on clear skies. In addition, special viewings for community groups, church groups and science classes can be arranged.
