Crochet course offered by Continuing Education

CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia’s Department of Continuing Education will be offering a new course on the craft of crochet.

The class is Crochet Poncho Project and will meet for three consecutive Thursdays beginning on Jan. 27 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. During the span of this class, participants will use basic crochet skills to crochet a poncho of their own. The cost for this class is $45. The class will meet in the new Adamson Hall on Front Campus Drive.

So who should take this class? According to Lauri Thompson, information specialist for the Department of Continuing Education, “If you have previous experience, it’s not necessary to enroll in a crochet basics class to participate in the project class.”
