Winter Visitation Day scheduled January 27, 2005 CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia will open its doors to prospective students and their parents for Visitation Day, Sunday, Feb.6. Check-in will start promptly at Noon, and will be followed at 1:15 p.m. with entertainment by the UWG Pep Band, and Co-ed cheerleaders in the Health and Physical Education (HPE) Building. UWG President, Dr. Beheruz Sethna, and UWG Ambassador President, Eliska Threet will be feature speakers. At 2 p.m. the Academic Fair, will take place in the Technology-enhanced Learning Center (TLC) Atrium. Information about the Richards College of Business (RCOB) , College of Education, and the College of Arts and Sciences will also be available. The Departmental/Organizations Fair, will also be taking place at the University Community Center (UCC) at 2 p.m. Here organizations such as the Black Student Alliance (BSA), Student Activities, Residence Life, and Student Government Association (SGA), will inform prospective students about their organizations. From 2-4:30 p.m., an academic fair in the Technology-enhanced Learning Center (TLC) Atrium will highlight various University departments. From 2:30-3 p.m. and 3:30-4 p.m. the TLC building will host a Financial Aid question and answer session as well as an Honors College information session. These sessions will continue from 3:30-4 p.m. along with a Transfer Student Information session. In addition, the following will be open to visitors at different times throughout the day: the Baptist Student Union will be open from 1-5 p.m., the University Book Store will be open from 2-5 p.m. and both the Admissions Office and the Residence Life Office will be open from 3-5 p.m. in Mandeville Hall. conclude the day’s activities, a reception will be held in the UCC
