Students participate in Georgia All-College Chorus

CARROLLTON, GA - Twelve students from the University of West Georgia have been invited to sing at the 2006 Georgia All-College Chorus on Jan. 26 - 28. The prestigious event is sponsored by the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA).
Students will rehearse for three days under the direction of Weston Noble, an internationally recognized conductor. Rehearsals will culminate in a performance for the GMEA conference.
Participating students include: Andrew Patton and Melissa Huckeba Stamps of Carrollton; Joseph Bryan of Cataula;Valerie Beck of Cordele; Rose Blanchard of Austell; Afton Flower of Newnan; Phylicia McCutchen of Marietta; Jeff Orme of Douglasville; Andrew Scott of Stone Mountain; Jessica Sheffield of McDonough; Cory Speakman of Lawrenceville; and Molly Sullivan of Cohutta.
