Broussard to speak during Black History Month

CARROLLTON, GA - Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority at the University of West Georgia will celebrate Black History Month with a presentation by guest speaker the Rev. B.L. Broussard of Greater Rising Star Baptist Church of Atlanta on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m.
“The speaker is full of wisdom, knowledge, inspiration and spirit. We believe that all will be blessed and inspired in some way,” says Angel Kelly, president of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority.
The presentation will include a performance by United Voices and will be held in the Technology-enhanced Learning Center, Room 1-305, with a reception following the program. The public is invited to attend, and business attire is requested.
