Festival of majors held

CARROLLTON, GA - For many University of West Georgia students deciding on a major can be a difficult decision. To help students make the right choice, the EXCEL Center for Academic Success will be hosting its 5th Annual Festival of Majors on Thursday, March 13, from noon to 3 p.m. in the TLC’s Atrium.
Students will be given the opportunity to explore the different majors offered at UWG. Every academic department on campus will have an information booth about curriculum requirements for students who major in that subject area. Information concerning the different career options for each major will also be available.
The Festival of Majors is not just for undecided students. Students who have already declared a major but are interested in receiving more information about their major are also welcome to attend.
