History book donated to schools

CARROLLTON,
GA - The University of West Georgia Foundation recently donated
copies of the book From A&M to State University to the media
centers at local middle schools and high schools.
According to Scott Huffman, associate vice president for development and alumni services, the book will aid students as they research local history.
Huffman noted that college is a time of intense studying, friendship, memories, triumphs, pride and moving forward toward graduation. Those years cross paths with so many others that it is often a struggle to recall what happened along the way. This book helps to keep the images of a four-year stay at UWG.
From A&M to State University can be purchased at the West Georgia Bookstore for $14.95 plus tax and shipping.
