Trees planted for Arbor Day

CARROLLTON,
GA - UWG students gather around James Hembree, grounds superintendent,
on Arbor Day for instructions on planting Long Leaf Pine trees on West
Georgia’s campus. Student organizations such as Alpha Phi Omega,
national service organization, and Alpha Tau Omega, Greek social fraternity,
joined other community volunteers in planting over 100 trees that were
donated by Dr. Joseph Hendricks, associate professor in biology.
