Friday After Dark

CARROLLTON, GA - The Student Activities Committee and other student organizations at the University of West Georgia will be hosting the second “Friday After Dark” of the semester from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. on March 5.
By conducting three “Friday After Dark” events every semester, Student Activities is providing entertainment for students who stay on campus during the weekends. The idea was brought back to West Georgia when LeTressa Walker, program advisor for student activities, attended a conference last spring about late night programming.
“I expect that this event will be larger than the one held last month because more students have been inquiring about it and are anticipating it,” Walker says.
This “Friday After Dark” will have a casino night (using play money) and a game called Grocery Bingo. There will also be a game-land, where students can participate in various board games. Students will be able to have their picture taken and put on tags to wear. Mary Kay consultants will be on hand giving free makeovers to interested students.
