PC Repair Course

February 10, 2004

CARROLLTON, GA - Got computer problems? You don’t need to wait weeks for a PC repair shop, stress over expensive repair bills or buy a new computer when an upgrade would do. You can learn to handle common computer problems and save yourself time, money and stress in a continuing education course at the University of West Georgia Newnan Center.

Do-It-Yourself PC Repair will meet in Newnan on two consecutive Saturdays, Feb. 14 and 21, from 9 a.m.-noon. The computers, a toolkit and instructions will be provided.

After studying the components that make up a personal computer, participants will dismantle and re-build one. The class will be helpful to individuals who are interested in technology repair, as well as those who would just like to gain extra knowledge about fixing their own computer if a problem should ever arise.

Don’t let the opportunity to get control of your computer pass you by. For more information or to register, call the Department of Continuing Education at 770-836-6611.
