SAEE Scholarship Awarded

CARROLLTON,
GA - University of West Georgia early childhood education major Dana Cole
(l) of Carrollton was the recipient of a $500 scholarship from the Southeastern
Association for Employment in Education (SAEE) for Spring semester. The
award was given based on merit, academic excellence and commitment to
the teaching and learning process, said SAEE member Wanda McGukin, (r)
associate director of Career Services. This was the first year that SAEE
had given this award, McGukin said. SAEE is an organization that establishes
and maintains professional standards among educational placement and personnel
officials engaged in recruitment and selection of staff for schools, colleges
and universities.
