Mote to give recital

March 19, 2003

CARROLLTON, GA - Villa Rica native Elizabeth Anne Mote will perform her junior recital at the University of West Georgia on Sunday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kathy Cashen Recital Hall. The recital is sponsored by the Department of Music.

UWG News PhotoMote, a mezzo-soprano, is working to complete her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance degree. She studies voice with Dr. Larry Frazier, associate professor of music.

Mote has most recently appeared as the Countess Almaviva in the UWG Opera Workshop production of Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro. She also appeared in the role of Prince Orlofsky in last year’s production of Die Fledermaus.

In addition to her performances, Mote is a 2002-03 Wright Scholar. She is the daughter of Jamie M. Mote of Villa Rica.
