UWG hosts Teacher Interview Day

March 12, 2003

CARROLLTON, GA - The Department of Career Services at the University of West Georgia offers students various opportunities to find their first job. This spring, school systems will recruit at UWG on Teacher Interview Day. The Governor’s Intern Program and Disney will also visit campus.

Teacher Interview Day will be held on Monday, March 24, at the Education Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. School systems from around Georgia will be on campus recruiting teachers for the upcoming school year. Students do not need to sign up for this event.

The Governor’s Intern Program will be on campus on Wednesday, March 26, to recruit for summer 2003 interns. All juniors and seniors with a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average are eligible to interview. To sign up for this event, visit Career Services in Parker Hall, Room 222.

On Friday, April 4, Disney will be on campus to interview for fall 2003 interns. Interested students must attend a Disney presentation on Thursday, April 3, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the University Community Center, Room 311, to reserve a time to interview.
