The Scoop replaces The Bulletin March 3, 2004 CARROLLTON, GA - The Bulletin, also known as the Schedule of Classes, for the University of West Georgia is being replaced by The Scoop beginning in March with the information for Summer 2004. The Scoop is the student’s guide to each semester with information on registration, drop/add, fee payment, exams, and includes the University calendar and information on using Banweb. According to Bonnie Stevens, registrar, since the course listings in the Bulletin were always out of date, The Scoop does not contain the listing of classes. The list of courses offered for each semester can be found on Banweb at http://banweb.westga.edu under Public Access, Class Bulletin. This listing is updated approximately every 15 minutes and has the most up-to-date information on courses offered, times and instructors. Banweb should be checked frequently for new courses and course changes. The Scoop for Summer 2004 and Fall 2004 will be available in early March. The same information is also found on the Registrar’s Office home page, www.westga.edu/~registra. The course listings for Summer 2004 are on Banweb now and the Fall 2004 course listings will be on Banweb sometime the second week of March. Advance registration for both Summer and Fall 2004 begins April 5. For more information, contact the UWG Registrar’s Office at 770-836-6438. -30- |
