UWG women invited to Health & Beauty Conference

CARROLLTON, GA - The Daughters of Zion (DOZ), a University of West Georgia student organization, invite the women of UWG to a 2006 Health and Beauty Conference March 14-16 on the lower level of Strozier Hall. The conference is dedicated to relieving tired muscles, education about women’s health and a sincere peace of mind.
On Tuesday, March 14, 6-9 p.m., UWG women are invited to attend “A Night at the Spa". Signature services include eyebrow arches performed by a licensed cosmetologist, manicures, pedicures, massages, Mary Kay facials and make-up applications. Spa service prices range from $2-$6.
On Wednesday, March 15, 6-7 p.m., fitness and health guru Starla Martyn will lead a Jazzercise session. She will also discuss issues related to women’s health. A tasty Lean Cuisine meal will be served afterward from 7-8:30 p.m. Both events are free of charge.
The Health and Beauty Conference will end with a spiritual enlightenment session on Thursday, March 16, 7-9 pm, and will feature Minister Amina Blackmon as a guest speaker. Blackmon ministers at A Place of Refuge Ministries in Carrollton.
