"Episodes in Sexuality" presented at UWG

March 10, 2006

CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia, the Responsible Sexuality Committee and the West Georgia Theatre Company will present the 15th annual “Episodes in Sexuality” program on March 13-16 at 7 p.m. at the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts.

“Episodes in Sexuality,” which will be performed in the Black Box Theatre, explores issues and values related to student sexuality in a safe and supportive environment. The production features a series of skits written, directed and performed by students. This year’s theme is titled “Changing Hearts—Changing Minds.”

The production combines the important topics of abortion, rape and unprotected sex with surprising plot twists and comic relief that allow for a serious but light-hearted experience.

The production is directed by senior theatre major, Adrie Keaton of Jonesboro. Production crew members are Timothy Reynolds of Savannah, Casey Shore of Rome, Amber McCain of East Point, and Perlisha Jones of Riverdale.

Cast members are Brandy Bollinger of Covington, Tyrone Buie of Fayetteville, Ashley Burse of LaFayette, Travis Davenport of LaGrange, Shelley Hubbard of Dallas, Marie Merritt of Newnan, Scott Pittman of Douglasville and Paul Steenhoek of Austell.

Tickets are free for UWG students and can be picked up one week before the event. Seating is limited. For more ticket information, call 678-839-4722.
