Teacher Interview Day
March 15, 2006
CARROLLTON, GA - The University of West Georgia will hold its 25th annual Teacher Interview Day on Monday, March 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Education Center.
The Department of Career Services and the College of Education sponsor the event for hundreds of students and dozens of school systems. Teaching candidates from West Georgia will be able to meet with more than 40 public and private schools systems from the southeast.
The schedule for Teacher Interview Day is:
Student registration, 8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Welcome, 8:45 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Students schedule interviews, 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Student Interviews, 9:45 a.m. – 1 p.m.
In addition to school systems from Georgia, representatives from Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama and Las Vegas are registered to attend the event. Students are encouraged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes.
